Camping and outdoor brand Vango signs deal to become official supplier of Recommended Kit for the Scout Association

The Scotland-based business has worked with The Scout Association on an approved range of products from its portfolio of brands including Vango, Wayfayrer, Trangia and Fuel 4. The Scout movement is the UK’s largest mixed youth organisation committed to providing life changing adventures for young people aged 6-25.

The range of tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, footwear, stove systems, fuels and food approved have been selected to match the needs of all age groups from Beavers right up to Scout leaders. This will help Scouts and their families choose performance led, quality kit that’s right for their outdoor activities.
Selected equipment, from the extensive AMG portfolio, will carry the “recommended by Scouts” logo and will feature on all equipment lists supplied by The Scout Association to its members.

Vango has been in existence since 1966, and is the preferred brand of mountain explorers and outdoor enthusiasts the world over.

Founded in 1907 by Robert Baden Powell, The Scout Association helps children and young adults to reach their full potential, each year providing activities and camping opportunities to 435,000 children and young adults throughout the UK.
