VACANCY - ASSISTANT EXPORT SALES MANAGER

AMG Group Ltd, an exciting multi-branded company (Vango, Force Ten, Rossignol, Trangia & Wayfayrer) and one of the UK’s most successful, within the Outdoor & Snowsport Leisure Industry, is seeking to appoint an individual with passion, desire and a great attitude, to the following position.

ASSISTANT EXPORT SALES MANAGER

Location - Port Glasgow
Package - Competitive Salary with benefits

Working within the Internal Sales Department and reporting to the Export Sales Manager, you will be the “voice and face” of the company, within key strategic countries, promoting and selling our products, across a number of mediums.

You will be required to undertake the following tasks/functions: -

• Daily contact (written and verbal) with Export Distributors, Agents & Retailers.
• Liaise with Internal Customer Sales Team & Finance Department on Sales Order conversion and Shipments.
• Coordinating Product Information feedback from Customers to the Product Team.
• Preparation of monthly commission statements.
• Maintenance of International Customer Database.
• Follow-up on e-mail enquiries received via website.
• Liaison with E-commerce and Export Sales Manager on co-ordination of translations for website, pitching instructions, etc.
• Assisting in the running of International Product Launch and International Pre-Line Meetings.
• Attendance at Trade Shows, including the Outdoor Show in Germany.
• Visiting your Export territories.
• Providing sell through information, from the Export markets, to identify trends and further enhance product development.
• Providing input to Sales Forecasts.
• Providing Weekly Sales Reports and Monthly Board Reports.
• Ad hoc cross departmental support.
This opportunity will appeal to an ambitious, resourceful self-starter, who shall have an avid interest in Outdoor pursuits, particularly participation in
Camping & Trekking.

Your personal attributes will include: -

• Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Superior communication skills,
• Fluent Language skills, in English & French; a third European language, preferably Spanish, would be a distinct advantage.
• IT skills within MOS.
• A “CAN DO” attitude.
